In full general the staff was friendly just poorly trained and had very limited communication skills. Suite was very modern but not practical. (Only mirrors in bathroom. Bath lights so poor hard to shave. Electricity failures common, h2o would cease running without warning. Especially bothersome in the shower. Ac so loud when on that information technology couldn't be used while sleeping. Beach had fancy beds rather than lounges, but no where near enough to handle the oversupply. Guest joke, "ask questions of at least 3 people and ignore what the staff answers". Example. We were told by two staff members and in the written material the wrong location in the complex for a major "political party". Food was acceptable but restaurants had restrictions that were not announced or communicated to guests accept at the door.

Worst Hotel ever!!!!! Not like pictures!!!!!!!

i paid for this hotel a lot!!! of money thinking I will be going to a nice hotel which is clean and comfortable I got at that place and was extremely disappointed this was the worst room I ever stayed in. The service the hotel treats yous with makes you feel like your in prison house rather than a vacation and the pictures don't aren't at all what the hotel looks like. I came in my room the room was filthy looked similar a hostel. I sat on the couch there was rips and holes inside the beds looked similar they were from the 1920'southward. When I wanted to use the toilet I lifted the seat up to see a surprise employ your imagination. I went to the front end desk-bound to complain they would brand me expect and no i will help saying something of going to my member which I have no inkling what that means. Subsequently the first day I picked upwards my bags and let not wanting to stress myself out anymore. Bottom line Practice NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Allurement and Switch

The rooms practice non look anything like photos or descriptions. The room look like a 1970s flashback nothing modern like photos. I asked frontdesk of hotel and hotels.com about room did not take flat panel television receiver, no cd histrion, no stove, microwave like described on site about guestrooms. The hotel said information technology simply an case of what yous get not the actual room. I checked out and left to say the to the lowest degree.

Dissapointing but may give them some other chance

We reserved the Royal Suites for our second day in teh Puerto Plata area. The first solar day we stayed at Casa Colonial and it was awsome! At Lifestyles from the begining even checking in was painful, there were a lot of people we had to wait to check in and and then wait for the room to be fix. One time we got to the room we were very dissapointed information technology was not what is advertised in the pictures on the web site, in fact it was onetime, not kept upwardly to appointment. Some other issue is trying to make reservations to have diner in 1 of the gourmet restaurants. this should not be a hassle just here it is. We had a VIP bracelet and we stayed for one night and because of this I have called well in advance to allow them know I was concerned that we may not be able to get a reservation and was tyold they volition accomodate, when I arrived it was very dissapointing and got no assistance what so ever; in fact the merely restaurants they told us had opening were the mexican, dominican, chinese and the cafe restaurants. Nosotros chose the chinese restaurant and was a big mistake because the food was awful, we did not eat all our nutrient and joinned other couples that lefty tgis restaurant and went to the buffet. In that location seemes to exist VIP areas that are nice and sounds like the villas and presidential suites may be in amend shape. I may give this place some other shot if I were to stay at one of these rooms and endeavour one of the gourmet restaurants hoping we have a better experience next fourth dimension
